Breastfeeding Positions: How to Breastfeed in the Cradle Position?

To do the cradle position, start sitting in a chair. Hold your baby with her neck on your forearm. This allows her to tilt back so her chin is pressed into your breast, and her nose is free.

Nuzzle her body close to yours with the same arm you are using to hold her. Use a pillow to support your arm, if you need to. This breastfeeding position is one of the most common, and it can be very comfortable for both you and your baby.
