Snacks that Fight Morning Sickness Symptoms | Parents

Watch as Parents Magazine shows you healthy snacks that are morning sickness remedies! Morning sickness symptoms can be light or severe, depending on the woman or the length into gestation. For a healthy pregnancy diet that also provides morning sickness relief, try these snack ideas. Keep dry crackers on your night table, such as saltines. Eat them whenever you feel pregnancy nausea coming on. Eat something every few hours to keep full. Snacks like low-fat yogurt, cheese and crackers, or pretzels with peanut butter satiate you. Drink liquids between meals instead of with them. Ginger or peppermint tea can also act as a cure for morning sickness. If you crave high-calorie comfort food, eat it in small portions until you can eat well again. If you lose at least two pounds, vomit blood, or vomit more than three times daily, call your doctor. If morning sickness persists after the fourth month of pregnancy, check with your physician. These healthy snacks keep you on track while curbing morning sickness symptoms!
