Beware: Googling While Pregnant

Pregnant? Did you know that loud concerts could damage your baby's hearing? That some eye-drops could lead to birth defects? Or that long periods spent at high altitude could reduce your baby's birth weight?

People on the internet are cray cray and you may just end up giving yourself and your baby a stress ulcer in the process - no don't Google stress ulcer! We're using hyperbole. Just like the internet!

But it is always best to consult your doctor rather than taking comments on the Internet to heart. Terms such as: pasteurized cheese / sushi in pregnancy / is it safe to use baby crib bumper / what happens if I don’t drink from a BPA free plastic straw...may lead to mommy madness!

What did you worry about during your pregnancy? Do you have any advice for first-time moms in the age of Google?
