Fitness During First Trimester Pregnancy

Working out during the first trimester of pregnancy presents some challenges: You’re overly tired, unpredictably nauseous, and scared that each move you make will harm the baby.

Staying healthy and fit when you’re pregnant is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your baby. Exercise also will help you regulate weight gain, prepare you for bearing more pounds, and get you in shape for childbirth.

First-Trimester Fitness:
Exercise 1 - Basic Squat (20-25 Repetitions)
Exercise 2 - Jumping Jacks (60-90 Seconds)
Exercise 3 - Overhead Press (10-15 Repetitions with 2-to 5-pound hand weights)
