Your Pregnancy: Fetal Development Weeks 10 to 14

In this stage the baby's head becomes rounder but it's still very large it represents one-third of his total length, little by little it will become more proportionate. His eyes are centered and his ears take their final position, very soon he will make his first head movements. 
 
Inside his head his brain nerve cells are multiplying rapidly. His neck is becoming longer and it'll start differentiating from his chin. His nasal passages open up while, his nose is preparing to perceive smells the teeth lips and vocal cords begin to form now. He can open his mouth for long periods and he can start sucking on his little fingers, he can bend and stretch. 
 
His arms and hands his feet are becoming more and more defined. His toes separate and now he can open and close them. His genitals begin to differentiate and very soon he'll start producing urine. The structure of the skeleton and his little bones begin to form during these weeks. The baby will go from the size of a date to the size of a peach you.
